LINCOLN FAMILY APARTMENTS

 OROVILLE, Calif. - The Lincoln Street Family Apartments is under construction for phase one of the 122-unit housing project.

The Lincoln Street Family Apartments is a proposed 61-unit affordable housing site for low-income families earning up to 30 and 60 percent of the area median income. The complex will have 31 two-bedroom apartments and 30 three-bedroom apartments.

 

 

Monthly rent will be between $526-$1200, depending on the unit type.

The money for this project comes from the 16 million-dollar community development grant. It’s to help families looking for affordable housing and social services and for people who lost their homes.

Construction crews should finish phase one in Oct. 2024.

"They will provide additional housing for the community of Butte County, but also to beautify an area in the city of Oroville with new homes, no build and making it affordable for our residents," the Director of Business and Housing Development for the City of Oroville said.
