Mooretown Lift Station & Pipeline Upgrades
Notice is hereby given the Lake Oroville Area Public Utility District (LOAPUD) has completed an Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act for the Project described below.
The project involves the replacement of gravity sewer pipelines and manholes, and the replacement of sewer lift station pumps, electrical controls, and standby generator. Pipeline replacement will include approximately 1,270 feet of existing undersized 10" diameter sewer pipeline with new 18" diameter pipeline along with five 48” diameter concrete manholes to be installed in the same location as the existing facilities. Lift station upgrade will include replacement of two 25 horsepower pumps with two new 35 horsepower pumps, replacement of electrical control panels including motor controls, automatic transfer switch, SCADA telemetry equipment, and utility meter/main, and replacement of the standby generator.
